GFK was the original contractor assigned to restore my daughters room and master bathroom after water damage. They were prompt, organized, worked with our insurance and left us with no stress throughout the whole process. The final work was top notch and all productions stayed on schedule, even while COVID-19 was impacting supplies. I would use them again, even without insurance assistance for any construction projects.

I called them for home repairs before I sold my house, and they were easy to work with and did exceptional work. I am writing to describe our experience with Mr. Kirk Kirmeyer, owner of the GFK Construction Company, assigned by the USAA PDRP to repair water damage to our home. Mr. Kirmeyer came personally to assess the damage, which involved a 14-foot-high vaulted ceiling. He was courteous and articulate, and a pleasure to do business with. He surveyed the situation and described in clear language what steps would be taken for the repair and restoration. He discussed the cost. Once we agreed to the repairs, he brought in a drywall expert who was equally gracious, obviously experienced and highly skilled at his trade. In less than two days the ceiling was repaired and there is no way to tell there was ever a problem! And after the repair, Kirk came back to check on the details and to ask about our satisfaction. Kirk Kirmeyer is a professional whom USAA needs to remember for future work, a sharp, efficient and articulate businessman who brings credit to the USAA Contract Connection and the GFK Construction Company.
