Due to water damage our house encountered a lot of damage. GFK was contacted and they responded quickly and immediately took action to get the house secured from the water damage. I found GFK to be a reliable company that will take care of you promptly, and their work is first class. When the work was completed I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. I am writing to describe our experience with Mr. Kirk Kirmeyer, owner of the GFK Construction Company, assigned by the USAA PDRP to repair water damage to our home. Mr. Kirmeyer came personally to assess the damage, which involved a 14-foot-high vaulted ceiling. He was courteous and articulate, and a pleasure to do business with. He surveyed the situation and described in clear language what steps would be taken for the repair and restoration. He discussed the cost. Once we agreed to the repairs, he brought in a drywall expert who was equally gracious, obviously experienced and highly skilled at his trade. In less than two days the ceiling was repaired and there is no way to tell there was ever a problem! And after the repair, Kirk came back to check on the details and to ask about our satisfaction. Kirk Kirmeyer is a professional whom USAA needs to remember for future work, a sharp, efficient and articulate businessman who brings credit to the USAA Contract Connection and the GFK Construction Company.

GFK is a great company. It’s hard to find a company and people that your can trust with your home. I called them for home repairs before I sold my house, and they were easy to work with and did exceptional work. I’ve had friends and family have water damage to their home and GFK was on call to provide exceptional service in a time of great need. They have great people and are honest.
