From my first phone call to Dennis Kirmeyer, I knew we had made the right choice. Everyone was respectful and done a great job. A special shout out to our project manager Chip Hawkins… He went above and beyond all else to keep us in communication about the progress and in detail step by step. I am writing to describe our experience with Mr. Kirk Kirmeyer, owner of the GFK Construction Company, assigned by the USAA PDRP to repair water damage to our home. Mr. Kirmeyer came personally to assess the damage, which involved a 14-foot-high vaulted ceiling. He was courteous and articulate, and a pleasure to do business with. He surveyed the situation and described in clear language what steps would be taken for the repair and restoration. He discussed the cost. Once we agreed to the repairs, he brought in a drywall expert who was equally gracious, obviously experienced and highly skilled at his trade. In less than two days the ceiling was repaired and there is no way to tell there was ever a problem! And after the repair, Kirk came back to check on the details and to ask about our satisfaction. Kirk Kirmeyer is a professional whom USAA needs to remember for future work, a sharp, efficient and articulate businessman who brings credit to the USAA Contract Connection and the GFK Construction Company.
